Executive Project and Community Relations Manager

Status: Full-time, salaried, non-exempt.
Wage: Salary range is $67,375 to $77,000 annually, adjusted for experience.

Essential Duties:

  1. Provide executive level administrative and special project support to the Corporate Officers and independently complete tasks and projects of a specialized and detailed nature.
  2. Embrace and support ROI’s philosophies related to diversity, inclusiveness and anti-racism and work to ensure ROI’s commitment to being an anti-racist organization.
  3. Coordinate anti-racism efforts, special projects, and assignments and work in collaboration with the lead DEI specialist/director to support racial equity.
  4. Develop, maintain, and oversee the dissemination of ROI community relations and marketing materials including website/social media content, print publications/brochures, newsletters, and annual reports to ensure ROI’s positive visibility in the community.
  5. Manage and maintain the accurate recording, processing, and acknowledgement of all donations.
  6. Identify and cultivate ROI’s relationship with donors, potential donors, and community partners.
  7. Manage, coordinate, and promote ROI fund- and friend-raising events and provide relevant outcomes reports.
  8. Identify and manage the resources necessary to implement donor and community relations activities and provide relevant input to the CFO regarding the budget.
  9. Maintain and coordinate the meeting activities and schedule of the Corporate Officers as assigned.
  10. Monitor, prioritize, prepare and maintain confidential correspondence and other documents for the Corporate Officers as assigned.
  11. Serve as support and enhance the activities of Board Committees as assigned.
  12. Maintain the confidentiality of all restricted information, data and reports.
  13. Complete all other tasks as assigned by the CEO or the Board of Directors.

Requirements:

  1. Associate Degree in Communications or relevant field.
  2. 2-3 years experience in project support, donor or community relations OR equivalent experience and qualifications as approved by the Chief Executive Officer.
  3. U.S. Work Authorization.

Preferred:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Communications or relevant field.
  2. Experience in anti-racism, non-profit fundraising, or event planning.

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent oral/written communication, planning, presentation, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively with other professional, families of Individuals served, Boards of Directors, the media, community agencies, community members, and staff.
  3. Ability to complete work of a detailed nature and work on several major tasks concurrently.
  4. Ability to attend (including providing own transportation) work-related obligations throughout the State and community, including responsibilities outside of normal work hours.
