Status: Exempt, full-time
Wage: $69,000 to $77,000 annually, adjusted for experience

Essential Duties:
- Develop, monitor implementation of, and revise as necessary all treatment plans for clients receiving services in the program.
- Provide and/or ensure appropriate supervision of all relevant staff and provide timely and accurate evaluations of staff as directed.
- Establish best practices to address staff concerns regarding proper implementation of treatment plans, scheduling, and staff development; facilitate communication of concerns to the clinical team as necessary.
- Embrace and support ROI’s philosophies related to diversity, inclusiveness and anti-racism and work to ensure ROI’s commitment to being an anti-racist organization.
- Actively address concerns brought by individuals served, families and supports coordinators; facilitate communication between concerned parties and clinical team.
- Provide day to day assistance to the Support Specialist as it pertains to scheduling and schedule troubleshooting.
- Facilitate teamwork between all team members via open communication, responsibility sharing, and a cooperative attitude.
- Engage in root cause analysis to inform sustainable process improvements and overall system improvements.
- Assist in the development of new clinical and staff management processes (as needed) to ensure optimal staff and program performance.
- Implement, maintain, and revise (as needed) continuous improvement projects, as directed by the Outpatient Services Director.
- Implement ROI’s Personnel policies within the program team.
- Conduct initial evaluations and screenings for individuals with a diagnosis of autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Design curricula and programming that aligns with research, evidence-based practice, and current industry-standard assessments.
- Ensure clinical programs meet ROI’s and other professional standards.
- Provide training to and monitor the performance of care staff and families in the implementation of the treatment program and service plan.
- Create all necessary supporting documentation for curricula to ensure clear direction of direct care staff.
- Participate in service/support/treatment team meetings.
- Maintain positive working relationships and act as the liaison between all collaborative/collateral organizations and the clinical team.
- Participate in interdisciplinary activities including intake/assessment planning meetings, peer reviews, case conferences, IEP meetings, discharge/transition planning meetings, and consultations with the clinical team.
- Assist in the activities necessary for program evaluation and provide assistance for preparing/presenting research outcomes.
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
- Monitor billable activities for all staff to ensure compliance with billing standards and efficient/effective service delivery and reimbursement.
- Advocate for and respect the rights of individuals served.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all restricted information, data and reports.
- Comply with all laws and regulations regarding reporting suspected abuse and neglect of vulnerable persons and investigate allegations of rights violations as assigned.
- Assist and monitor activities related to contract compliance, certification, and/or accreditation of OP Services, including the appropriate response to all inspections, investigations, and external audits/reviews.
- Promote a positive image of ROI/Great Lakes and maintain general upkeep of the workplace and equipment to ROI standards.
- Display responsible, conscientious behavior, and use good judgment in making decisions.
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Business Development Manager (for billing and insurance purposes) Outpatient Services Director, Executive Director of Autism Services, COO, and CEO.
Paid training is provided to all new hires.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or allied discipline which includes graduate level coursework in basic principles of behavior, applied behavior analysis, and research methodology.
- Board Certification as Behavior Analyst and possess a valid and current license as a behavior analyst in the state of Michigan by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
- Approved driver status as determined by ROI.
Preferred:
- Relevant experience in outpatient programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience conducting assessments and implementing evidence-based procedures and treatment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Minimum 3 years in instructional design, developing programming, or related activity.
- Possess the analytical skills necessary to develop, implement, and measure clinical assessment and treatment programs.
- Minimum 1 year of direct staff management and supervision in a human service setting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with staff, clients, interdisciplinary team members, and families.
- Demonstrated adherence to systems based practices and protocols and adequate supervisor and mentoring stills.
- Ability to lead group activities, as well as work on a one-to-one basis with individual clients.
- Ability to identify changes in client clinical conditions and adjust activities accordingly.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when administering treatments, observing client behaviors, and recording notes.
- Ability to complete crisis intervention training and perform those tasks as needed.
- Ability to attend work-related obligations throughout the community.
