Maintenance Support Staff

Description: 

Full time, non-exempt position responsible for the maintenance needs of residential and administrative program sites.  ROI is a CARF accredited non-profit organization employing over 400 staff and serving over 400 adults and children with disabilities through the operation of residential programs and the Great Lakes Center for Autism Treatment and Research as well as programs in supported living, low-income housing, and payee services.  Duties include routine repairs and preventative maintenance of appliances, furniture and buildings; and general construction projects under the direction of a supervisor.   Qualifications for the position include:  High school diploma or GED, valid Michigan driver’s license with satisfactory driving record, 5 years experience in the maintenance/construction field or similar work experience.   Appliance repair background a plus.  Must provide own tools.  Starting wage commensurate with experience.
