Clinical Director
ROI is beginning a search for a Clinical Director to design, direct, and provide the delivery of clinical services to children, adolescents and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities served by the newly established Great Lakes Center for Autism Treatment and Research (GLCATR). The Director will provide the oversight and the vision needed to ensure quality programming and treatment, using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and evidence-based best practices, within the residential program and outpatient clinic settings of GLCATR. Responsibilities include: leading and directing the development of clinical program services, training, and research; designing systems for program evaluation; presenting/publishing research outcomes; providing treatment to individuals who exhibit complex behavior disorders and emotional disorders; supervising and directing the clinical staff of the program; and serving as the program’s liaison between Western Michigan University’s Psychology Department faculty, staff, interns and other agencies with the potential to serve as an adjunct faculty member at WMU. Qualifications for the position include: Doctorate level Clinical Psychologist with Board Certification as Behavior Analyst or eligible for certification. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience implementing evidence-based procedures and treatment for individuals with challenging behaviors, experience in residential programs preferred.
